Oliver Miall
Managing Director
Oliver Founded OJM Insulations in 2001 after working in the industry since 1997, Oliver has developed a loyal clientele and has been at the helm of the business for over 15 years.
Ashley Miall
Contracts Manager
Ashley has been with OJM for 18 years, starting initially by working on site as an Insulation Engineer and progressing over the years to become a Contracts Manager. He is based primarily in the office, liaising with both clients and engineers on site to ensure the smooth running of all types and sizes of projects.
Clare Patient
Office Manager
Clare has been Office Manager at OJM for over 10 years. She deals with clients in all aspects of our business from estimating to accounts and ensures the smooth running of the office. Clare is also a key point of contact for our engineers and suppliers ensuring that materials are available and on site efficiently.
Apprenticeships and Vacancies
Investing to create a Brilliant Team
OJM Insulations are proud to be supporting the TICA Apprenticeship scheme.
The scheme provides apprentices with a mix of on and off the job training, ensuring that they gain both the technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skills they will need for a career in the industry. The TICA Thermal Insulation Apprenticeships lasts for up to four years with off the job training taking place at the National Training Centre in Darlington for blocks of two weeks, in order to complete their formal qualifications.
Joe Palmer
Apprentice
Joe is currently in the Level 2 TICA apprenticeship scheme standard for commercial thermal insulation technicians.
He has been with OJM since November 2021 and has thoroughly enjoyed his time on and off-site learning all sorts of new skills and adapting to various scenarios.
His first week on the TICA college side of things was great! he learnt a lot more useful skills and the staff were amazing. He says he is definitely looking forward to going back, as well as looking forward to furthering his knowledge for on and off-site practices!
Oliver Housden
Apprentice
We have a new apprentice! Please welcome Oliver Housden.
Oliver has been with us since August 2020 and is now enrolled on the Level 3 TICA apprenticeship scheme standard for commercial thermal insulation technicians. Oliver will continue his learning and improve his skills through work-based training, formal “off the job” training and regular Classroom activities based at the TICA head office. Once Oliver is qualified this will lead to the Gold Advanced Craft TICA skill card for an advanced craft person or the gold TICA skill card for supervisors.

Sam Miall
Apprentice
Sam is currently on the Level 3 TICA apprenticeship scheme standard for commercial thermal insulation technicians.
Sam has been with OJM since August 2018 and has continued to improve his skills through work-based training, formal “off the job” training and regular Classroom activities.
Once Sam is qualified this will lead to the Gold Advanced Craft TICA skill card for an advanced craft person or the gold TICA skill card for supervisors.
