We are pleased to announce the completion of work at St Mary Magdalene Academy in Islington.
We are delighted to have recently completed the insulation to some solar water heating pipework at the University of Suffolk.
We are delighted to have completed insulating a second anaerobic digestion or ‘biogas’ plant for BioConstruct
At OJM Insulations we are increasingly delivering Air Source Heat pump insulation projects. With over a dozen such projects, we have the knowledge and skills to help you make this green technology even greener through effective insulation!
Creating a circular economy
Attleborough biogas plant is a groundbreaking initiative in the UK. It takes over 100,000 tonnes of food waste from local businesses and the community and in return supplies biogas for the 4,000 homes and businesses in the town. That’s around 10 megawatts per hour. A truly circular economy and one that can claim to be ‘green’.
The plant itself works by taking organic waste and storing it in large digester tanks which are oxygen free. Anaerobic bacteria then go to work in decomposing the material. This process creates methane which can then be purified and used to supply energy.
